The most downloaded modpacks on Modrinth

Any of them installs in Alloy from its link or its .mrpack file. Point at one to see what it is; click to open its Modrinth page.

Modrinth lists 19K modpacks. This chest is refilled every six hours.

What the video shows

A 40-second trailer for Alloy, recorded from the real interface. The AlloyMC cube forms from gold and steel. On the home screen a cursor rests on Play, and the gold button heats up like molten metal before the game starts. In the library it opens a Fabric modpack: Alloy's check before launch finds two mods that need Fabric API, and one click installs it. Update all updates two mods and keeps Iris Shaders back, because it needs a Sodium version that isn't out yet. Discover lists Modrinth modpacks, and a new Fabric instance is created with Fabric API included. Then: 58 ms for a new instance of a version you have, 0.7 ms from Play to a ready Java command, no ads, open source under GPL-3.0. It ends on the Download Alloy button and launcher.alloymc.dev. The soundtrack is electronic music without speech.

Alloy checks every mod before Minecraft starts

So a broken pack tells you which mod is missing and offers to install it, instead of crashing on the loading screen. Alloy is free, open source and has no ads, on Windows and Linux.
